About The Position

This is a part-time Dishwasher position available on Wednesdays and Thursdays only. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, glasses, pots, and pans, as well as ensuring the overall neatness of the kitchen area. Responsibilities include handling trash, following safety protocols, and assisting with plating for banquet events when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Use established guidelines to correctly utilize and maintain the dish machine.
• Wash glasses and dishes in a standard dish rack.
• Wash pots and pans in the pot washer's area.
• Ensure all cleaning required to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times, including sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping up spills.
• Empty full and heavy trash cans, ensuring they are sprayed and sanitized after each use, and placing new trash bags in the container after each cleaning.
• Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols, as well as Safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties in other areas of the Kitchen as assigned, including assisting with plating banquet events when needed.
