About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, kitchen equipment, and food preparation areas. This position supports the kitchen team by ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with health and safety standards. Supports Kitchen staff by performing basic food preparation and cleaning tasks.

  • Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be flexible to work AM and/or PM shifts.
  • Food Handler Certificate is required.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, clean, and ensure sanitary dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using dishwashing machines or by hand as needed.
  • Help maintain high levels of cleanliness while completing washing assignments.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly.
  • Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
  • Properly store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated locations.
  • Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and follow safety procedures.
  • Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, walls, coolers, storage areas, and workstations.
  • Restock kitchen supplies and assist with deliveries when necessary.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and local health department regulations.
  • Maintain attendance and punctuality according to company standards.
  • Follow your work schedule and meal breaks accordingly to avoid Meal Penalties.
  • Have the willingness to learn culinary skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
