About The Position
Spring Arbor Senior Living in Winchester, VA is seeking a Part-Time Dishwasher / Kitchen Prep team member to support their dining services. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and enjoys contributing behind the scenes to ensure an exceptional dining experience. The schedule involves rotating shifts, including weekends and some holidays. The primary responsibilities include setting tables, bussing tables, washing dishes, assisting the cook, and completing cleaning duties. The community is a drug-free workplace.
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Must have an awareness of safety practices.
- Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of six (6) months food service (or related field) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash all dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils.
- Properly maintain all dishwashing equipment.
- Work as part of the Dining Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
- Help contribute to high quality Dining Services operations by paying attention to food presentation and taste, and courteous responses to residents and associates during meal service.
- Set tables.
- Bus tables.
- Assist the Cook as needed.
- Complete cleaning duties.
