Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Flexible availability required, including availability to work closing shifts as late as 2am on weekends

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, kitchen tools, and food preparation equipment using industrial dishwashing equipment or by hand as needed
  • Ensuring all cleaned items are properly dried, organized, and returned to their designated storage areas
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing workstations, walls, and equipment
  • Monitoring dishwashing supplies and reporting low inventory, damaged items, or equipment concerns to the Executive Chef
  • Following all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals
  • Supporting the culinary team by keeping dish stations, storage areas, and kitchen floors clean and well organized
  • Removing waste and recycling in accordance with health and cleanliness standards
  • Communicating effectively with kitchen team members to ensure efficient daily operations
  • Taking direction from the Executive Chef while contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment
  • Performing other duties as required to support the overall success of kitchen operations
