Requirements

  • Previous experience in banquet service, catering, restaurants, hospitality, or other high-volume service environments
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with guests and colleagues
  • The ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in fast-paced and high-pressure settings
  • A guest-focused approach and commitment to delivering outstanding service
  • Leadership capabilities and a willingness to support, guide, or assist team members when required
  • A polished and professional presence suited to upscale events and special occasions
  • Valid Smart Serve Certification (required)
  • Valid Driver’s License (required)
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and event-driven schedules
  • A dependable, positive attitude with a team-first mentality and willingness to assist wherever needed

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, creating a positive and attentive experience from the moment they arrive.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and service.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure dietary restrictions and special requests are accommodated.
  • Familiarize yourself with event menus, timelines, and service expectations to support flawless execution.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the event, responding promptly and proactively to requests and concerns.
  • Clear, reset, and maintain tables while ensuring service areas remain clean, organized and event-ready.
  • Assist with side duties, including setting up service stations, restocking supplies, and preparing for service.
  • Follow the direction of the Banquet Captain or Supervisor to ensure smooth, coordinated, and timely event service.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contribute to a supportive team culture focused on collaboration, hospitality, and excellence.
  • Play a role in creating memorable experiences for guests celebrating life’s most meaningful occasions.
  • Perform other duties as required to support successful banquet and event operations.
