Requirements

  • Willingness to learn basic prep and BOH systems (FIFO, labeling, dating).

  • Nights/weekends/holidays availability.
  • Able to lift up to ~40 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and handle heat/steam safely.
  • Follow food safety & sanitation standards (we’ll train you).
  • Meet local age and work eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Own the dish area: run the machine and 3-comp sink, scrape/rinse/load/unload, and keep wares circulating fast.
  • Sanitize to standard: hit proper temps and sanitizer ppm; polish glassware; ensure beer-clean glasses.
  • Restock & reset: keep plates, pans, smallwares, and glassware stocked for the line and bar; stage clean sheet pans and hotel pans.
  • Keep it tight: sweep/mop, break down cardboard, take out trash, organize drying racks and storage.
  • Support the line: jump in with basic prep (wash/label produce, portioning, line set-up) as trained.
  • Close like a pro: follow checklists, deep-clean zones, and leave the kitchen inspection-ready.
  • Safety first: follow knife/chemical handling, and communicate hazards right away.
