Dishwasher (Part Time)
About The Position
Unidine is hiring immediately for a part time DISHWASHER position. This role is responsible for maintaining dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. The position involves scraping and rinsing food from dirty dishes, washing them by hand or machine, and ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation. The dishwasher will also polish silver, maintain temperatures and chemical levels, keep the dish area orderly, sweep and mop floors, wash food preparation surfaces, remove trash, steam clean garbage cans, and transfer supplies and equipment. This role is crucial to the culinary team and contributes to creating memorable experiences for those served.

- A valid Food Handler's card or ServSafe certification required.

Responsibilities
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, and trays.
- Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
- Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.
- Removes trash and places it in designated containers.
- Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Helps load and unload supplies and product.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
