About The Position
The Dishwasher at The Fitzgerald ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of dining ware and equipment used by kitchen staff. This is a full-time position with a rotating schedule. The role involves cleaning dishes and kitchen areas, handling food-service carts and supplies, and assisting servers with dish clearing in the dining room. A current Food Handler’s Certificate is required as applicable. Employment offers are subject to pre-employment screening, including a drug screen, job-specific physical, TB test, and background check; the company covers the cost of these requirements if selected for employment.
Requirements
- Six months of experience in a similar field.
- A current Food Handler’s Certificate, as required.
- Bring a positive attitude and be a great team player.
Nice To Haves
- High school graduate preferred.
Responsibilities
- Load or unload food service carts.
- Pick up and/or deliver supplies and food.
- Wash and clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and related items.
- Assist servers with dish-clearing needs in the dining room.
- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen, storeroom, and other designated areas.
- Sweep and mop the kitchen floor, walk-ins, and other designated areas as needed.
