About The Position

Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods.

Requirements

Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
Possess a basic understanding of health standards as they apply to the service industry.

Responsibilities

Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine.
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
Cleans and sanitizes throughout shift.
Maintain kitchen area cleanliness; sweeps, mops, removes debris from floor, etc.
Perform assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, beautification duties.
Prepares and maintains dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing.
Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
Close the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assists others in closing the kitchen.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty.
Display a can-do attitude by assisting other teammates throughout the restaurant.
