The Restaurant Dishwasher focuses on keeping up overall restaurant cleanliness to see to it that guests have the level of food and beverage service to the high standards set by Neiman Marcus. Responsibilities

• Keeping the dish, trash, and floors areas clean and organized to the highest level of Health and Kitchen standard
• Maintaining dish machine by checking for chemicals, understanding how to use it, and reporting any malfunctions
• Keeping chemical testers on hand
• Checking trash periodically and removing if full
• Organizing dish area with all solutions for pots, pans, sinks, and silver
• Maintaining a pace for washing all pots, pans, dishes, flatware, and glassware
• Exercising caution when working with breakables (e.g., dishes and glassware)
• Keeping floors clean from spills, grease, and general trash
• Assisting with preparation and additional cleaning throughout kitchen as needed
• Maintaining a professional relationship with all line cooks, coworkers, chef, and front-of-the-house staff
• Upholding all Health and Sanitation standards as directed by Neiman Marcus, local Health Department, and 3rd party Sanitation auditors
