The dishwasher is responsible for keeping the kitchen clean and organized, washing dishes, and setting up dish stations. This is an entry-level position with some kitchen experience preferred, but not required. The role involves washing all dishes, pots, pans, flatware, and glasses by hand or in a dishwasher, and storing them appropriately. Responsibilities also include setting up dish machines and stations, cleaning and sanitizing various kitchen areas and equipment, and maintaining an awareness of food safety procedures. The position requires adherence to facility policies, State & Federal law, and accrediting agency regulations. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
