About The Position

The Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Steward. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our culinary operations. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional service and eager to contribute to the success of our team. This position supports the culinary team by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing area, and assisting with food preparation and plating as needed. You will also be responsible for the proper handling and storage of food and supplies, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines, and collaborating with team members to maintain a smooth workflow. A positive and energetic attitude is essential, along with a commitment to excellence and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Ability to lift 25+ pounds and stand for long periods of time
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a Steward or in a similar role preferred
