About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and the kitchen environment. This role involves operating dishwashing equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and assisting with kitchen duties as needed, including plating for banquet events. The position requires a strong work ethic, self-initiative, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to provide excellent guest experiences. Flexibility in work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is expected.

Responsibilities

• Use established guidelines to correctly operate and maintain the dish machine.
• Wash glasses and dishes in a standard dish rack.
• Wash pots and pans in the designated pot washer's area.
• Ensure all cleaning required to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times, including sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping up spills.
• Empty full and heavy trash cans, ensuring they are sprayed and sanitized after each use, and placing new trash bags in the container after each cleaning.
• Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties in other areas of the Kitchen as assigned, including assisting with plating banquet events when needed.
