Responsibilities

• Constantly move throughout the kitchen
• Operate a variety of kitchen equipment and tools
• Communicate effectively with front of the house and back of the house employees
• Support team members including leadership
• Execute effective communication skills
• Regularly run dishes through an industrial dishwasher in a timely manner
• Ensure daily that machinery is running safely and effectively
• Know what chemicals we use and how to change them out and test them
• Ensure that all dishware, work areas, and service areas are cleaned and sanitized properly throughout the shift, including all station floors, counters, tools, cutting boards, preparation and serving surfaces within the kitchen
• Assist with prep and line needs
• Execute dish pick-ups and line sweeps regularly
• Receive, organize, and put away stock
• Keep dried goods areas and walk-in coolers organized and clean
• Take out trash and boxes
• Exude a positive attitude under stress
• Effectively close the dish station according to closing procedure standards
• Contribute to a fun and professional work environment
