About The Position

We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Dishwasher/Utility to join our kitchen team. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our food service, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, glassware, cookware, and utensils while keeping the kitchen organized and running efficiently. The Club at Rolling Hills is nestled into South Table Mountain in Golden, Colorado. Our wonderful facilities and beautiful front range location make the Club one of the premier private Clubs in the Denver Metro area. Requirements

  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift heavy items up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and thorough sanitation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with chefs, cooks, and front-of-house staff to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
  • Proactive attitude toward identifying and reporting issues, such as equipment malfunctions.
  • Reliable, punctual, and possessing a strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a kitchen, food service, or hospitality environment.
  • Familiarity with commercial dishwashing equipment and proper sanitation procedures.
  • Experience in a private club or upscale dining environment.
  • Valid food handler's card.

Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, glassware, and cookware using commercial dish machines and by hand for oversized or delicate items.
  • Scrape, sort, and stack soiled dishes, and carry clean items to their proper storage locations.
  • Set up, break down, and clean the dish machine and dishwashing area according to procedure.
  • Assist with general cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning spills, and sanitizing workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
  • Manage waste by emptying trash and recycling bins throughout the shift and transporting them to the dumpster.
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing produce or other prep work, as directed by the chef or manager.
  • Receive and properly store deliveries of food and supplies.
  • Monitor cleaning chemical levels and water temperatures to ensure proper sanitization standards are met.
  • Adhere to all local and state health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
