About The Position

Presbyterian is hiring a Dishwasher to perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties in a hospital kitchen/cafeteria. This includes dishwashing tasks like retrieving trays, cleaning meal carts, operating the dish machine, washing pots, and organizing clean dishes. Janitorial duties involve trash disposal, sweeping, and mopping. The role also includes participating in the delivery of food services trays to customers, ensuring quality and sanitation standards are met. Requirements

• Less than high school education.
• Less than one year experience in customer service or food service environment.
• Minimal legal age for consideration is 16.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve trays from dirty utility room, clean off meal carts, send dirty dishes through dish machine, wash pots, and place clean dishes in designated work area.
• Perform janitorial duties including throwing trash, sweeping and mopping.
• Participate in delivery of food services tray to customers, while maintaining quality and sanitation standards as needed.
• Participate in assembly and delivery of patient/customer meals in accordance with established criteria and procedures.
• Support the organization's visions, values and strategies.
• Maintain and support sanitation standards as required by department policy and regulatory agencies.
• Operate and maintain equipment commensurate with job assignment.
• Ensure quality guidelines are maintained as they pertain to the area assigned.
• Maintain department records, reports and files as required.
• Participate in educational meetings/in-services.
