About The Position

The Ohioan Hotel and Event Center (Formally Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center) located in Lewis Center, Ohio is searching for a Dishwasher to join our team! Tucked in a 15-acre park-like setting just North of Columbus, Ohio, our property offers a complete collection of services and amenities for an all-inclusive experience. Our hotel has 193 stylishly appointed guest rooms and suites delight leisure travelers, while our 45,000 square feet of customizable meeting spaces are sophisticated yet comfortable and offer state-of-the-art technology to create a dynamic setting for meetings and special events. Requirements

Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

Must be effective at listening to, understanding and clarifying concerns and issues raised by team members and guests.

Responsibilities

Wash and properly store all cooking utensils, china equipment, flatware and glassware.
Wash dishes and items for entire property.
Sweeping and mopping coolers daily.
Sweep Dry Storage.
Keep levels stocked up on flour, rice and sugar bins.
Receive all deliveries, check in to ensure proper products where ordered.
Weigh at least two protein items to ensure proper case weight.
Takes receiving temperatures on protein products.
Receive grocery order, and place in proper locations on shelf.
Label and date all items.
Helps chefs with inventory procedures to ensure proper inventory is taken, monthly.
Helps when needed, in kitchen.
Responsible for a clean van and gassed for next day.
