About The Position
The Restaurant Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness so guests receive food and beverage service that meets Neiman Marcus standards. The role focuses on keeping dishwashing, trash, and floor areas clean and organized while upholding health and kitchen sanitation standards. The dishwasher also assists with preparation and additional kitchen cleaning as needed and maintains professional working relationships with kitchen and front-of-house staff. The position requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds. Scheduling is based on business needs and includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. The stated salary range is $19.61–$24.51; actual starting pay depends on location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Responsibilities
- Keep dish, trash, and floor areas clean and organized to meet health and kitchen standards.
- Check dish-machine chemicals, operate the machine, keep chemical testers available, and report malfunctions to the Restaurant Manager or Executive Chef.
- Use sanitizing materials and maintain solutions for pots, pans, sinks, and silver.
- Check trash periodically and remove it when full.
- Maintain an appropriate pace washing pots, pans, dishes, flatware, and glassware, taking care with breakable items.
- Keep floors free of spills, grease, and general trash.
- Assist with preparation and additional kitchen cleaning as needed.
- Maintain professional relationships with line cooks, coworkers, the chef, and front-of-house staff.
- Follow health and sanitation standards established by Neiman Marcus, the local Health Department, and third-party sanitation auditors.
