Requirements

Food Handler’s Permit required or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Nice To Haves

1+ year experience working in a kitchen or hospitality setting preferred but not required.
Previous experience working with commercial dishwashing equipment is a plus.
Experience in high-volume service environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize all dishware, utensils, glassware, and kitchen tools using a commercial dishwashing machine or by hand as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized dish station and kitchen workspace.
Properly sort, store, and transport clean dishes to their designated locations.
Assist with receiving and stocking kitchen deliveries, ensuring proper storage and rotation of food and supplies.
Remove trash and recyclables regularly, maintaining cleanliness and organization in waste disposal areas.
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper chemical usage for cleaning and sanitizing.
Assist kitchen staff with basic prep work as needed, such as washing produce, peeling vegetables, or portioning ingredients.
Support front-of-house staff by ensuring glassware and bar tools are clean and available during service.
Work efficiently to keep up with a fast-paced kitchen and bar environment, especially during peak service hours.
Maintain the cleanliness of floors, drains, sinks, and general back-of-house workspaces.
Assist in deep cleaning tasks, including scrubbing equipment, cleaning walls, and detailing surfaces as assigned.
Ensure kitchen linens, towels, and rags are properly laundered and stored.
Collaborate with the entire team to support smooth kitchen and bar operations.
Be prepared to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, supporting special events, catering functions, and large-scale service when needed.
