About The Position

The Mooring is looking for a Dishwasher to join the team. In the Dishwasher role you will be working to maintain the kitchen work areas, ensuring all equipment and utensils are clean and orderly – helping to keep the front and back of house operations moving smoothly.

Requirements

• Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
• Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships
• Prior dishwashing experience or are willing to learn as a new skill!

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide clean equipment for the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and trays by hand and by using the dishwashing machine
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors
• Wash work tables and cleans food storage areas
• Assist with trash and garbage
• Help to load or unload supplies and transfer between storage and work areas
• Basic food prep, cutting, washing, and chopping
