About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, glassware, and kitchen areas. This role involves using dishwashing equipment, ensuring the kitchen is neat and tidy, managing trash, and adhering to safety protocols. The position may also involve assisting with banquet events.

Responsibilities

• Use established guidelines to correctly utilize and maintain the dish machine.
• Wash glasses and dishes in a standard dish rack.
• Wash pots and pans in the designated pot washer's area.
• Ensure all cleaning required to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times, including sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping up spills.
• Empty full and heavy trash cans, ensuring they are sprayed and sanitized after each use, and placing new trash bags in the container after each cleaning.
• Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols, as well as Safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties in other areas of the Kitchen as assigned, including assisting with plating banquet events when needed.
