About The Position
Hellas Bakery, a high-volume Greek bakery known for its quality and tradition, is hiring full-time Sanitation / Dishwashing staff. As a member of our Sanitation Team, you will play a vital role in maintaining our commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and high-quality standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to remain standing for extended periods
- Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable with bending, reaching, and repetitive motion
- Previous professional cleaning experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate a pan washing machine correctly and safely.
- Sort, rack, and store cleaned items in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas, break rooms, and restrooms throughout your shift.
- Empty trash and maintain general sanitation across the facility.
- Ensure all items meet cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Follow chemical safety protocols and know proper sanitation levels.
- Follow GMP (Good manufacturing practices).
- Adhere to all safety procedures and workplace guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
