About The Position

As a Dishwasher at F1 Arcade, you're a key player in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and flow of our kitchen operations. You'll be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all kitchenware, utensils, and cooking equipment to the highest standards, ensuring the kitchen team can operate smoothly and safely at all times. You'll work behind the scenes to uphold sanitation standards, restock clean items where needed, and support general cleaning duties across the kitchen. Your focus and attention to detail help create a safe and organized environment where chefs can work efficiently and guests enjoy a top-tier dining experience. By keeping the dish area stocked, equipment clean, and waste disposed of properly, you'll help keep kitchen operations running at full speed. You may also support with light prep work during peak periods, making you an essential part of the overall culinary team.

  • Frequently sit for short periods of time, talk via Cloud Based video conferencing and the phone often, and hear and manipulate objects constantly.
  • Lifting up to 10 (ten) pounds constantly and up to 50 (fifty) pounds as required.
  • Lifting from floor to shoulder constantly and overhead infrequently.
  • Twisting and reaching frequently.
  • Grasping objects to move or manipulate constantly.
  • Working in hot then cold environments for extended periods of time.
  • May inadvertently bump into team members in a relatively small work area.
  • Will stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • FREQUENT hand washing and sanitation is required.
  • Ability to use knives, slicing equipment, and other food preparation equipment.
  • Ability to communicate with Guests and other Team Members and manipulate handheld and desktop devices.

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly wash, sanitize, and air-dry dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment according to strict health and safety standards.
  • Clean dishwashing machines and workstations regularly; report any issues or malfunctions promptly to ensure safe and effective operation.
  • Empty trash bins frequently and maintain cleanliness in designated waste areas.
  • Assist with mopping, sweeping, and surface cleaning across the kitchen.
  • Help with basic prep tasks such as peeling or portioning ingredients, especially during high-volume service periods.
  • Follow all hygiene, chemical handling, and safety protocols to ensure a compliant and safe kitchen environment.
  • Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to restock clean kitchen tools and ensure dishware is readily available during service.
