About The Position

Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand, ensuring all items are sanitized according to health and safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and taking out trash.
  • Load and unload dishwashing machines efficiently, ensuring that all items are properly cleaned and stored.
  • Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables and portioning ingredients, when needed.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when inventory is low, ensuring proper storage and labeling of chemicals.
