About The Position

The dishwasher is charged with ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishware, cookware, and kitchen equipment, either by hand or using a commercial dishwashing machine. This role is also tasked with supporting overall kitchen hygiene by assisting with cleaning pots and pans, removing trash to designated disposal areas, sweeping and mopping floors, and sanitizing work surfaces. The Dishwasher plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. The Dishwasher will have a schedule either 8AM-4PM and held to every other weekend, and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

Cleans and sanitizes dishware by hand or using a commercial dishwashing machine, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
Maintains cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, including worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
Performs routine floor care such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and general cleaning to uphold a safe and sanitary environment.
Disposes of trash and waste properly by transporting it to designated disposal areas in a timely and safe manner.
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage areas and workstations (e.g., pantry, dish room) to support kitchen operations.
Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment using appropriate chemicals and procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations.
