About The Position

The Dishwasher works as part of a team in a fast-paced Domino’s restaurant. The role gathers, washes, dries, and stores soiled dishware and cookware, and may include restocking, unloading deliveries, helping maintain the lobby, cleaning appliances and machines, and emptying and cleaning trash receptacles. The Dishwasher is expected to prioritize tasks, communicate with team members, manage time effectively, and follow food safety regulations and procedures. Job-specific training is provided, including instruction on computer-system functions, cleaning chemicals, and washing procedures.

Requirements

Minimal work experience; prior relevant experience is not required because on-the-job training is provided.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Exceptional time-management skills.
Ability to stand or walk for 8–10-hour shifts and lift at least 30 pounds.
Pride in work and a positive attitude.
Willingness to comply with food-safety procedures.
Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate required.
Ability to handle sharp objects safely.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Collect soiled prep tubs, pans, utensils, and other cookware from the kitchen; wash, dry, and store them.
Clean and restock cook stations to prepare dining and kitchen areas for the next shift.
Clean kitchen machines and appliances, including ovens, the makeline, and the cut table.
Keep the dish pit clean and organized.
Help unload and store deliveries.
Sweep and mop floors, particularly when items are spilled.
Take out the trash and rinse garbage cans.
Assist other restaurant staff with tasks as needed.
Report kitchen accidents or food-safety-code and procedure violations.
Keep the dining area ready at opening, closing, and during operating hours.
Set up the kitchen line before rushes and reset the kitchen at closing for the next business day.
