About The Position

Domino’s Delivery Drivers provide excellent customer service while transporting customer orders safely and promptly. They assemble, load, transport, and deliver orders along assigned routes while following road-safety rules. Drivers are expected to be polite, thorough, punctual, and committed to providing a positive customer experience. The position requires clean, reliable transportation with valid insurance.

Requirements

Own reliable transportation that is kept clean and free of debris.
Valid insurance for the vehicle.
Ability to read, understand, and follow a map.
Ability to pass criminal-background and motor-vehicle-record checks.
Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate.
Ability to understand and work with numbers.
Ability to follow directions and achieve goals.
Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow a schedule, be punctual, wear the proper uniform, and work swiftly with a smart hustle.
Effective communication with a variety of customers.
Two years of driving experience and history for applicants who are age 18; one year for applicants age 19 or older.

Responsibilities

Arrive on time in complete uniform, with a clean vehicle and a full tank of gas.
Keep the car-top light on during deliveries.
Assemble each order accurately, including extras such as dipping cups and sodas.
Route orders through the Pulse routing program within one minute of leaving the store.
Move quickly but safely between the store, vehicle, and customer locations.
Transport hot items in a heat bag and cold items in a plastic T bag.
Load assigned orders into a clean, safe vehicle approved for Domino’s deliveries.
Drive safely and obey traffic laws while completing assigned deliveries.
Avoid additional stops unless specific permission is granted.
Collect customer payments and provide correct change.
Collect signatures for credit- and debit-card transactions.
Track cash and receipts and ensure they balance at the end of the shift.
Use a drop box to keep cash in the bank bag under $20 and do not keep money in the vehicle.
Listen to and resolve customer complaints, suggestions, and inquiries.
Keep the driver area stocked, organized, neat, and clean.
Help keep the box hutch and other box-stocking areas clean and stocked.
At closing, check that the dining area is clean and stocked.
Keep heat bags clean and free of rips and tears.
Sweep regularly and mop when needed; mopping every night is required.
Wash dishes when no dishwasher is working.
Help cook and perform other kitchen work when necessary, as backup.
Occasionally assist with phone, counter, or window orders.
Perform general store cleaning.
