Dishwasher MC CCG (Full Time)
About The Position
The Dishwasher is responsible for the overall upkeep and storage of dirty and clean dishes, maintaining cleanliness of the dish machine and pot and pan areas, and ensuring sanitary food handling. This role also involves performing other assigned duties as needed. The position requires developing and maintaining a service culture that ensures superior internal/external guest service. The dishwasher will be responsible for washing all dishes, glassware, and silverware, keeping the dish area clean and organized, stocking clean dishes, and managing trash removal. Additional duties include disassembling and cleaning the dish machine, sweeping and mopping floors, maintaining chemical levels with proper PPE, ensuring adherence to company policies, and staying knowledgeable about promotions and events. The role may involve working with standard kitchen equipment, in coolers and freezers, and on slippery floors, requiring the ability to operate in stressful situations.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Able to work flexible shifts.
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations.
- Respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to recognize potential food hazards.
Responsibilities
- Develops, maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members.
- Wash all dishes, glassware, and silverware, making sure they are clean, dry and spot free.
- Keep dish area, machine, and racks clean and organized.
- Stock all clean dishes in storage locations.
- Take trash out of garbage cans and transport to the dumpster.
- Replacing all can liners.
- Drain dish machine and disassemble parts for cleaning.
- Sweep and mop every shift or as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Keeping chemicals full and replacing them when needed using the proper PPE (personal protective equipment).
- Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of all promotions and events.
- All other duties as assigned.
