About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and workstations are properly cleaned and organized. The Dishwasher will also assist with transporting food and supplies, managing waste, and collaborating effectively with team members and guests. The position requires adherence to company standards and the Thoughtful Service Model to promote positive employee and guest relations. Duties may be assigned by the Executive Chef and/or Lead Steward and may change over time.

Responsibilities

  • Properly scrape, rinse, rack, stack and wash all china, flatware, glassware and utensils according to company standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Cleans and sanitizes workstations and maintains cleanliness and organization of coolers and dry storage areas.
  • Transports food and supplies to workstations and serving lines as needed.
  • Properly use and store food items, kitchen supplies and all food and beverage tools and materials.
  • Empty trash in workstations and in kitchen areas, and transports to disposal areas, adhering to operating procedures.
  • Work effectively with other employees, vendors, guests and other visitors.
  • Promote positive employee and guest relations by adhering to the Thoughtful Service Model.
  • Other related duties as assigned by the Executive Chef and/or Lead Steward.
