About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring all service and kitchen wares are clean and sanitized. The Dishwasher will interact with fellow team members and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality. The position requires maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the dish station, the kitchen, and the entire venue, as well as proper storage and removal of garbage and soiled linens. The Dishwasher must possess in-depth knowledge of the dish machine and proper usage of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies, while also complying with Department of Health and company sanitation standards. They will also communicate product needs to chefs and/or purchasers, perform opening and closing procedures, report any equipment or furniture damage, and attend pre-service meetings and training sessions. The role involves learning by observing, sharing knowledge, leading by example, and portraying a positive and professional attitude. The Dishwasher will demonstrate knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners, and supporting hotel environments, work as part of a team, and assist with additional tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

Ensure all service/kitchen wares are clean and sanitized.
Interact with fellow team members and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner.
Aide in cleaning inside and outside the venue.
Proper storage and removal of garbage and soiled linens.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dish station, the kitchen, and the entire venue.
Follow supervisor’s instructions, communicate with and support co-workers while being a team player.
Possess in-depth knowledge of the dish machine.
Possess in-depth knowledge of proper usage of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
Possess general knowledge of the venue.
Comply with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
Communicate product needs to the chefs and/or purchaser.
Properly set-up dish station and perform opening/closing procedures as directed by management.
Stock stations with prescribed supplies.
Properly set up and break down dish machine.
Maintain and clean kitchen equipment.
Wipe down and sanitize stations.
Perform opening side-work as prescribed.
Perform closing side-work as prescribed.
Report all breakage and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
Attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings (where applicable).
Attend and participate in any training sessions or departmental meetings.
Learn by listening, observing other team members, and sharing knowledge while leading by example.
Portray a positive and professional attitude.
Demonstrate knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners, and supporting hotel environments.
Work as part of a team and provide help and support to all fellow team members.
