About The Position

The Dishwasher plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. This position is responsible for washing and sanitizing all dishes, cookware, utensils, and other kitchen equipment, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety are met. In addition, the Dishwasher supports the overall flow of operations by staying aware of venue needs and assisting other team members. This includes promptly collecting used items from various stations, restocking clean wares, and maintaining an organized dish area to support kitchen and service teams.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with kitchen safety, sanitation, and standard operating procedures
  • Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to work well under pressure
  • Dependable, punctual, and attentive to detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and surrounding spaces
  • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
  • Assist kitchen staff by collecting dirty or used items from prep areas, service stations, or events
  • Operate dishwashing machinery and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs
  • Follow all venue policies and procedures regarding safety and cleanliness
  • Support team members in maintaining an efficient and collaborative kitchen environment
  • Perform additional duties as requested by the culinary or management team
