About The Position

The Restaurant Dishwasher focuses on keeping up overall restaurant cleanliness to see to it that guests have the level of food and beverage service to the high standards set by Neiman Marcus. This role is crucial for maintaining the restaurant's operational efficiency and guest satisfaction by ensuring a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the dish, trash, and floors areas clean and organized to the highest level of Health and Kitchen standard.
• Maintaining the dish machine by checking for chemicals, understanding its operation, reporting malfunctions, keeping chemical testers on hand, and knowing how to use all sanitizing materials.
• Checking trash periodically and removing it if full.
• Organizing the dish area with all solutions for pots, pans, sinks, and silver.
• Maintaining a pace for washing all pots, pans, dishes, flatware, and glassware.
• Exercising caution when working with breakables (e.g., dishes and glassware).
• Keeping floors clean from spills, grease, and general trash.
• Assisting with preparation and additional cleaning throughout the kitchen as needed.
• Maintaining a professional relationship with all line cooks, coworkers, chef, and front-of-the-house staff.
• Upholding all Health and Sanitation standards as directed by Neiman Marcus, local Health Department, and 3rd party Sanitation auditors.
