About The Position

The PM Steward - Dishwasher is responsible for washing dishes and other cooking utensils, restocking clean items, performing general cleaning to comply with health department standards, putting away food stock and dry goods using the "first in, first out" rotation method, and removing trash to the dumpster. This role may also involve general/routine cleaning tasks and other duties as requested by the supervisor, such as cleaning unexpected spills or fulfilling special guest requests.

Requirements

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Understanding of health and safety regulations.
Ability to rotate stock using "first in, first out" method.
Must be able to lift and move trash to the dumpster.
Pre-employment background assessment required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a similar role is a plus.

Responsibilities

Washes dishes and other cooking utensils.
Restocks all clean glasses, silverware and plates.
Performs general cleaning in order to stay in compliance with the health department.
Puts away food stock, and dry goods in their proper location, rotating “first in”, “first out”.
Removes the trash from all containers, taking it to the dumpster located on the loading dock.
Perform general/routine cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health standards.
Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning up unexpected spills or executing special guest requests.
