About The Position
The Clare, a premier senior living community in downtown Chicago, is seeking a full-time Steward/Dishwasher. This role provides assistance in all dietary functions as directed by the Chef, including assembling prepared food and utensils on the tray line. Responsibilities include the set-up and clean-up of glasses, dishware, and silverware for all dining rooms, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment in compliance with food code sanitation standards and community policies. Candidates must pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical exam.

Responsibilities
- Provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed by the Chef.
- Assemble prepared food and utensils on trays on the tray line.
- Responsible for set-up and clean-up of the glasses, dishware and silverware used for meal service for all dining rooms.
- Maintain all work and work areas appropriately and in compliance with food code sanitation standards and community policies and procedures.
