This role is responsible for ensuring all service and kitchen wares are clean and sanitized. The Dishwasher interacts with fellow team members and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality. The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to: anticipating and accommodating the needs of all employees, aiding in cleaning inside and outside the venue, proper storage and removal of garbage and soiled linens, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the dish station, the kitchen, and the entire venue, following supervisor’s instructions, communicating with and supporting co-workers while being a team player, possessing in-depth knowledge of the dish machine and proper usage of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies, possessing general knowledge of the venue, complying with Department of Health and company sanitation standards, communicating product needs to the chefs and/or purchaser, properly setting-up dish station and performing opening/closing procedures as directed by management, reporting all breakage and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management, attending and participating in daily pre-service meetings, training sessions, and departmental meetings, learning by listening, observing other team members, and sharing knowledge while leading by example, portraying a positive and professional attitude, demonstrating knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners, and supporting hotel environments, and working as part of a team to provide help and support to all fellow team members. Additional tasks may be assigned.
