About The Position

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Santa Clara Silicon Valley is seeking a Dishwasher to help keep kitchen and dining areas clean and support memorable guest experiences. The role involves cleaning serviceware and cookware, keeping supplies organized, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, preparing clean serviceware for banquets and functions, and supporting and mentoring other stewards. The position is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday from 4:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Candidates should have at least six months of dishwashing or kitchen experience, though training is available.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of dishwashing or kitchen experience; training is available.
• Ability to stand for 6–8 hours.
• Ability to work independently and be productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork skills and a positive attitude.

• Prior hotel dishwashing or stewarding experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils; scrub pots and pans; and burnish silver.
• Monitor stock levels and keep supplies and equipment well stocked and organized.
• Perform kitchen cleaning tasks, including mopping and trash removal.
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
• Train and mentor new stewards.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
