Our senior living community is currently seeking a Dishwasher to join our team of dedicated professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, their families and our community. Ensure efficient, timely and friendly service to all residents, staff and guests. Assist with meeting or exceeding residents’ dining expectations. Ensure proper cleaning, storage, and availability of all dining services cookware, dishware, etc. Keep food prep, dining areas and/or dish room areas clean and sanitary. Maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures and high quality of food preparation and presentation.
Requirements
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift to 40 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in food service, healthcare, or senior living preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean, organized, and hazard-free
- Properly store cleaned items and maintain sanitation standards
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning duties (floors, surfaces, trash removal)
- Support dietary staff with light tasks as needed
- Follow all infection control and safety procedures specific to senior care environments
