About The Position
Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Dishwashers to join our team at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Your role as a Kitchen Helper and Utility Worker will involve carefully cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen space and equipment, as well as all equipment used for serving food and beverages, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and quality dining experience for our guests. This is a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Capacity to work cooperatively with others
- Night transportation is required
Responsibilities
- Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Clean work area including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking area, keeping the kitchen wares storage organised
- Remove trash from the dish room and transport it to the dumpster, as well as clean and sanitize the garbage cans
- Clean and sanitize the dishes and utensils in a timely manner
- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, disposing of trash and lifting are tasks to be completed every shift ensuring all sanitizer levels on dish machines and pot sinks meet the specific requirements for health standards
