About The Position

As a Dishwasher at Gibbet Hill Grill, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are clean and ready for use by the kitchen staff.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing machine to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Hand-wash dishes, pots, and pans as needed.
• Sort and stack dishes and utensils in appropriate areas for storage.
• Ensure that the kitchen and dishwashing areas are clean and well-maintained at all times.
• Empty trash and recycling bins as needed.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
• Help with other tasks as assigned.
