About The Position
Our airport restaurant, Adios, is seeking a reliable and hardworking dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, be detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and utensils, as well as ensuring that all dishware is properly sanitized and ready for use.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a dishwasher in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation techniques
- Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and store all dishes, glassware, utensils, and other kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area
- Assist with the preparation of food items as needed
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Communicate with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management
