About The Position

The Dishwasher position is a part-time, on-call role responsible for maintaining kitchen cleanliness and supporting event operations. This role requires a positive attitude, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to client service. The position involves washing dishes, maintaining work areas, preparing food items, and assisting with receiving and storing supplies. The role may require working extended and irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on event needs. Reliable transportation is essential for reporting to work as scheduled.

Requirements

Possess a High School diploma or GED.
At least one (1) year of related experience.
At least two (2) years of experience in a Food & Beverage environment.
Ability to understand and follow direction.
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to complete required pre-employment food service training, if applicable.
Ability to work in a team.
Positive attitude and neat appearance.
Must have reliable transportation and be able to report to work as scheduled.
Maintain a client service-oriented attitude.
Ability to work long and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include day, evening, weekends and holidays and can work flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.
Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
Prepare and package individual place settings.
Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
Sweep and scrub floors.
Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving.
Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food and supplies.
Receive and store supplies.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
