About The Position

Levy is hiring a Dishwasher at LEGOLAND NY. The role maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. The Dishwasher follows assigned procedures and safety standards while cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the dish area.

Responsibilities

• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or load them into racks or a dishwashing machine.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures.
• Polish silver using assigned equipment and procedures, including a burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth.
• Follow outlined safety procedures.
• Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
• Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food-preparation surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Help load and unload supplies and product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
