About The Position

Southern Hospitality Company, an entity of Southern Land Company, is headquartered in Nashville, TN is seeking a dishwasher to open our new Italian restaurant, Lupo Notte. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, in a fast-paced work environment. The Dishwasher involves cleaning and sanitizing kitchenware and equipment, emptying trash, and maintaining a clean work area. Key responsibilities include scraping, rinsing, and loading dishes into a dishwasher, hand-washing pots and delicate items, and putting away clean dishes and utensils. Dishwashers also perform other cleaning and sanitation tasks, and may assist with basic food preparation.

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Prior experience working in a restaurant preferred.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils using a commercial dishwasher or by hand.
Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into the machine, and unload and put away clean items in their proper storage locations.
Keep kitchen floors swept and scrubbed and ensure all equipment and work areas are clean and orderly.
Remove trash from bins and clean them as needed.
Maintain the correct amounts of detergents and rinse agents and report any issues with the dishwashing machine to a Chef/Sous Chef.
