About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning, transporting, and storing all china, glassware, and silverware. This role also involves maintaining the cleanliness of all kitchen and storage areas, as well as the cafeteria.

Requirements

• Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
• Ability to push, pull, lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Must work well in stressful high pressure situations.
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a hotel or a related field

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the dish room, kitchen, cafeteria, and storage areas.
• Break down trays, set up dish machine, wash dishware, sort and store all clean china, glass, and silver using proper procedures.
• Empty and wash the inside and outside of trashcans.
• Thoroughly clean dock area and dumpster.
• Break and clean the inside and outside of the dish machine.
• Clean all breakdown tables.
• Clean tile walls and baseboards.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
