As a Dishwasher/Steward at The Westgate Hotel, you will play an essential role in supporting our chefs and culinary team by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. Your attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to cleanliness will help ensure our team has the tools and support needed to deliver outstanding service to our guests. Requirements

No prior experience required; hospitality or kitchen experience preferred.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced culinary environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment and cleaning machinery.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift.
Reliable attendance and a willingness to support the culinary team.
Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as business needs require.

Responsibilities

Washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and sanitation standards.
Maintaining a clean and organized dish area while ensuring proper flow of kitchen operations.
Preparing dining areas and kitchen stations for upcoming shifts through cleaning, organizing, and restocking.
Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, including coffee makers, mixers, cookware, and other culinary tools.
Assisting with receiving, unloading, and properly storing deliveries.
Sweeping and mopping floors while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Removing trash, recycling, and maintaining cleanliness of waste areas.
Supporting chefs, cooks, and restaurant team members with additional tasks as needed.
Following all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Contributing to a positive team environment by demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to help.
