About The Position

The Jekyll Island Convention Center, managed by Legends Global, has an immediate opening for a part-time Dishwasher in the Food & Beverage Department. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all kitchenware, ensuring the dishwashing area is a clean, safe, and sanitary facility. The position requires flexibility in working hours, including frequent evenings and weekends.

Must be results-driven, follow direction and ask questions for clarification if needed.
Must be compliant with health codes.
Must be able to work flexible hours.
Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils using machine and manual cleaning methods.
Ensure the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary facility.
Sort and stack clean dishes.
Carry clean dishes to the cook's line and other proper storage areas.
Rewash soiled dishes before delivering.
Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through the dish machine.
Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
Remove trash and garbage to the dumpster.
Set up or break down the dishwashing area.
Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
Sweep/mop floors.
Assemble/disassemble the dish machine.
Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry.
Notify the manager if the dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.
