About The Position

The Dishwasher Service Assistant supports daily restaurant operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe back-of-house environment. The role involves washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment; assisting with basic kitchen preparation when needed; and helping keep the kitchen clean and stocked. The position offers full training and opportunities to develop skills and grow into other back-of-house roles.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and good attention to detail.
• Ability to stay productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift.
• No minimum prior experience is required; full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment using commercial dish machines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dishwashing area.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic preparation tasks when needed.
• Sweep and mop, and follow sanitation standards throughout the shift.
• Take out trash and recycling and help maintain overall cleanliness.
• Restock clean plates, utensils, and supplies for service.
• Follow food safety, health, and hygiene guidelines.
