About The Position

Dishwasher / Prep Cooks will wash dishes and utensils, prepare ingredients for cooking, and ensure the kitchen is clean and well-stocked while following safety and quality standards. Duties include dishwashing, food preparation, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and adhering to health and safety regulations. This is a union position.

Attention to details, accurate work, able to find and correct errors
Able to respect people from all different backgrounds and abilities
Ability to show up each day in a timely manner ready to work
Frequent positioning is required to access both low and high shelving, equipment, and products.
Frequent movement of containers weighing up to 50 lbs.
Constantly prepare and handle items
Occasionally ascend/descend a ladder to reach high shelving
Utilize various equipment including but not limited to knives and mixers.
Requires exchanging accurate information in person.
Occasionally work in a walk-in cooler
Exposed to sanitizer, cleaning products, and loud noises.

Nice To Haves

Commercial kitchen dishwashing and/or food industry experience
Communicates in more than one language
