About The Position

Providence Place of Chambersburg is seeking a motivated individual to join their Dining Team. The Dishwasher / Prep Cook will be responsible for successfully maintaining the dish room, completing all associated duties, and having the ability to read and follow recipes to ensure product consistency. This role assists with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn new food preparation techniques and presentation
• Must know and have good sanitation and cleanliness practices
• Demonstrates skill in plate presentation and portion control
• Must be able to cook in large quantities and for large groups
• Ability to work in harmony with co-workers and be part of the team
• Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance
• Must be dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and able to work without constant supervision
• At least one year of kitchen related experience
• Must present a neat, clean appearance and demonstrate a positive, cheerful attitude
