About The Position
The University of Iowa Health Care department of Food and Nutrition Services is seeking a Dishwasher (Kitchen Helper) to perform routine cleaning and other duties in the General Hospital food service area under direct supervision. The position uses appropriate cleaning equipment and is performed fully on campus at the General Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. The schedule is 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Compensation is $17.66 per hour. This is a regular salaried position with benefits including paid vacation, sick leave, health, dental, life, and disability insurance options, as well as employer contributions to retirement plans. Applicants must be able to understand and follow directions. Successful candidates must disclose any conviction history and undergo a criminal background check. The position is not eligible for University sponsorship for employment authorization.
